Introducing the GRiDCASE 2510 Mini Rugged Tablet

GRiD are pleased to announce the release of the new GRiDCASE 2510 Mini Rugged Tablet.

The GRiDCASE 2510 is a Hand-held, Rugged, Portable Tablet which was born from the success of the GRiDCASE 1510 Rugged Laptop.

The GRiDCASE 2510 is designed to be worn by the soldier, carried in a pocket or bergen and mounted in vehicles where space is limited.

The GRiDCASE 2510 Tablet runs full Windows, Linux and Android* Operating Systems and also includes a hot-swappable battery, making continual use on long missions possible.

The system is fully sealed and conductively cooled with all generated heat being expelled through the Aluminium chassis. The chassis not only aids in heat dissipation but also ensures complete rigidity protecting against drops and general use. This design allows the Tablet to be fully sealed to IP68 (submersible to over 1m of water).

The GRiDCASE 2510 has a screen size of 5.6” making it the most portable Tablet of the entire GRiD product range. It features a Resistive Touchscreen to allow for use with gloved hands, stylus or any preferred pointing device. The screen is fully functional in both wet and dusty environments unlike the capacitive touchscreens on the market.

As with all GRiD products, the connectors and interfaces are configurable to suit your project demands.
